Just starting to assemble a new box to evaluate recent DSPAM builds. Decided to try using 10.4 LTS (my first Ubuntu server, I've only used it for desktops up to now) and immediately hit a rather nasty bug in the installer when trying to build a bootable software RAID https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mdadm/+bug/569900
Also - the Ubuntu Lucid repositories lack any package providing libmysqlclient15off - had to reach back to Karmic to find one http://packages.ubuntu.com/karmic/libmysqlclient15off A tip of the hat to Julien for his packages - couldn't get the repository to load through apt, but downloading and manually installing worked easily enough. Now for some reading and configuring time - hopefully soon...
