Would simply need to be built against a more recent MySQL version, which is not needed for Debian Stable, for which these packages are built. Kurt: the simplest thing is really to build your own packages. It is easy. You can use cowbuilder and/or pbuilder (you'll find how-to's everywhere [0]) and then simply: dget -x http://packages.kirya.net/debian/pool/main/d/dspam/dspam_3.9.1~rc1+git20100814-1.dsc cd dspam/ pdebuild --buildresult ../ --debbuildopts -sa And you'll get your packages in ../ Cheers, Julien [0] I've recently written my own, a bit more specific, but it might help you: http://www.kirya.net/articles/build-i386-packages-on-an-amd64/ -- Julien Valroff <jul...@kirya.net> http://www.kirya.net GPG key: 4096R/290D20C5 092F 4CB5 5F19 E006 1CFD B489 D32B 8D66 290D 20C5 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.net email is sponsored by Make an app they can't live without Enter the BlackBerry Developer Challenge http://p.sf.net/sfu/RIM-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Dspam-user mailing list Dspam-user@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/dspam-user
