Do you see anything in sql.errors? Do you see anything in the debug log? What about MySQL? What is your max_allowed_packet size? How big is your DSPAM data in MySQL? What MySQL storage engine are you using? MyISAM? InnoDB? And what about DSPAM? Do you run it in client/server mode?
