Yeah, I didn't think that is what he meant either. There are just some things that just strike me as not being amateur radio. I use repeaters, I don't "subscribe" to them, whether analog or digital. :) There are a few other terms that either slip into or were coined for amateur radio, that rub my ears the wrong way.
