I have a Garmin Zumo GPS that has no RS232 SERIAL port as required for the 92AD! It has just a mini USB on it to connect to the PC via USB.
Using a SERIAL-TO-USB adapter and a USB coupler I was able to connect the radio to my GPS. But I am afraid to turn them on yet in fear I will cook my expensive radio and / or GPS. I have confirmed that the the SERIAL-TO-USB adapter does indeed work connecting the radio straight to the computer however. Anybody get a 3rd Party GPS to work yet for GPSs with no Serial Port?
