Hi Dave... Just to fill you in on my trip to RadioWorld... The gentleman, there, set both radios to 52 and let me use the store's radio while I listen to his transmisison on my radio.. My radio sounded ok... So I know how they my radio does transmit dstar.. My next project is to increase my power level.. I have two ways to do this.. add a two meter amplifier, which I bought for mobile use back in the 70's.. 2 is to put up some kind of beam antenna.. nothing big but enough to get me to yyz and rpt... The antenna project may have to be delayed until the weather improves... At least I am moving forward... Larry
