Which rig are you on, that will help determine the answer to the above question. The rigs (all of them) store the four callsigns needed for "callsign" or "repeater" routing in the memory channel, but you can override them temporarily as long as you don't LEAVE that memory channel. Once you leave and come back, to say -- memory channel 20, for example -- the original four callsigns you programmed into that memory channel will return. The ID-800H handles this a bit differently than the HT's and the 2820, so again -- we'd need full examples and your rig type to fully explain... Nate WY0X
