I just had a nice chat via telephone with Jim, KG4TRI. He is Western Illinois for the weekend. Jim drives a heavy equipment transport rig and has several part time residences across the US. Jim really wants to use his ID-800 to connect to different Gateway links and Reflectors across the Eastern US. It appears his registration on AK4EG is good, and I have bootlegged his call sign to see if the Gateway system reports him on W5LM B where I transmitted using his call sign.
