Thank you for you answer here and in the other D-Star forum, but I cannot believe that in these years where everything is interconnected, we are not able to use one gateway for more then one repeater. It's out of the base of the networking. The meaning of the gateway is that it should be like a gate between different networks: Internet and radio (intranet). If we can well reach the repeaters via radio (intranet), I cannot think that we have the need to use internet to make speak togheter the repeaters.
After all we have two subnets that could be used (without thinking about the callsign routing). If the gateway should have the 10.0.0.x/8 network, on the other side we could have different 172.x.x.x repeaters in the intranet...isn't it ? 73 Raffaello IZ0QWM
