#1. They currently have a monopoly and know we'll buy even if D-Plus become incompatible in some way. #2. They believe their solution is far superior and we are the ones not doing it right. #3. They don't have to support anything D-Plus related. We have US based D-Star reps. Talk to them and ask if ICOM Japan is stupid.
