Output of uname -a:

Linux lambaweb.com 2.6.11.12-xenU #1 Fri Sep 30 14:32:33 CDT 2005 i686 GNU/Linux

Not sure what i'm missing. I'd successfully gotten this to work (well it was FreeSWAN then...) on redhat distro about a year back...maybe i'm reading the log wrong...have pasted it under this.

> /etc/init.d/ipsec start
ipsec_setup: Starting Openswan IPsec 2.2.0...
ipsec_setup: insmod: ipsec: no module by that name found
ipsec_setup: modprobe: Can't open dependencies file /lib/modules/2.6.11.12-xenU/modules.dep (No such file or directory)

ipsec_setup: modprobe: Can't open dependencies file /lib/modules/2.6.11.12-xenU/modules.dep (No such file or directory)

Thanks for all your help.

Dear Akshay
Check the kernel , if it is
(2.4 and older) U have problems , they do not ship
with KLIPS by default.
You will have to apply a KLIPS kernel patch or install
loadable kernel modules for KLIPS.

Try to use 2.6 or above , it will solve the problem
Thanks
Joseph
