We could.. but then the others on the list with a sense of humour would not

Some of the activates which Dubai LUG plans to do is that

Perhaps it's time for a change in the way we do things...
Dan and I spent a great deal of time last "unofficial meeting" working out
logistics for an
intallfest.. we will continue to do so until we figure out a way to make it
happen.. as it's been
brought up several times before and nobody has ever raised a finger and stepped
forward..
Habib has promotional stuff happening for Linux both privately and via Oracle..
I've already one newspaper article queued for publication in a local rag on
Operating systems and
Linux..
I've not made the last couple of real Lug meetings due to not being in the
country.. I do attend the
ones I'm here for though..
We answer questions on and off list the best we know how.. We even take support
calls from people in
the middle of the night (guys if I don't answer the phone I'm either asleep, on
the job or out of
the country - I have voice mail for a reason).. people we may have spoken to
once briefly at a lug
meeting and passed our card to..
However we also have a sense of humor.. something sorely lacking elsewhere on
the list.. and often
get shot down when we take it out for a walk..
Abdul, this is not a personal attack on your good self.. or anyone else on the
list.. it's a quiet
call to *bloody lighten up people*
