Hi All,

I had read in the newspaper that since du will be providing 'net access for the 'general public', they too will need to implement a filtered proxy.  At the time, this was slated for July '06.....

The article seemed a bit ambiguous since it mentioned du implementing a proxy, but also 'getting behind' the proxy.  I think there was some debate about each provider maintaining a system, or having the system moved upstream to EMIX.

In any case, du will also be filtered - eventually!

Regards

Sean

Hi,
Yesterday, I found that YouTube was filtered by EIM !
It's one of the biggest movie sites in the web, and there
are a lot of members, here.
I don't know why they filter some sites like YouTube,
Orkut and some others ...
Is there any way that change their idea ?
or even do you know what's the reason they filter this
site ?!

Sincerely,
Moeen

I too am sick & tired with their crazy blocking system. Ppl who really
want to get around it can get around so there is no point. Si instead
of spending their money in maintaining a censorship, they should give
ur for service.
I was told that "du" does not have any kind of censorship. Would be
nice if anyone using/used "du" service can confirm it.
