Hi everybody, I am in the habit of having long conversations with my folks, on Yahoo, MSN, Skype etc. Strictly voice.
But recently, I've been planning to roll out my own VoIP server (I am not even sure I am using the right terminology). I have an Al Shamil connection and use OpenSuse 10.0 / Fedora Core 4. I dont mind 'RTFM'ing, but I am not sure where to start. Is Asterisk the right product, for me, or is it only meant to replace an office PABX ? Will I be able to get it to work along with a dynamic DNS solution like no-ip ? Would love to hear from somebody who has done this kind of thing before. -Manoj.C PS: I've already downloaded 'Asterisk - The future of Telephony' from O'rielly, and will start reading it, when I can get my stupid all-in-one copier/printer/coffee-machine to work with cups. ;-) __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
