Just did an experiment. It looks like they have blocked skypes login servers. I
told skype to use a
http_proxy located outside etisalat's foul stench and skype logged in just
fine, in addition to
being able to make and receive calls..
So get yourself an account with an anonymous proxy, socks proxy or web proxy,
or vpn.. and skype away.
