It could very well be possible Jama. A HoneyNet generally tends to
have weak security so
security guys can observe, how the system is hacked, it gives them
insight into current penetration methods and apps.
However the I am going to give you free wireless access so I can hack
into your box or potentially much more damaging sniff your network
traffic is also very plausable. Open Wireless - especially domestic
is an easy one for this as you are bound to have repeat offenders.
Easiest way to do this, would be to build a squid box so that all of
the traffic has to flow through that. Then you could use packet
capture (wireshark) to collect data. DSniff available at insecure.org
will help you sniff out those tricky user names and passwords for
sites.
