Lee and I worked together right after it happened for a local (dubai)
it support company, and we still remain friends.

laws he had broken save for illegal usage of someone elses property.
He was fined 5000 dhs.
Etisalat sued him for 10 million dhs ina civil suit, and he counter
sued for character assassination. The police confirmed that Lee could
not have done any of what Etisalat had claimed he had done based on
the tools and apps running on his laptop at the time. Lee and Etisalat
settled out of court.
Lee still resides in the UAE.
