Thanks d6jg - apologies for reply but been hit with the windows10 update - 48hrs of sheer frustration before I got the pc to run again......... I have looked at the location but have no idea how to check if it is read only as I cant access it. It is on an Asuster NAS which is Linux based and I cant find a way from my windows machine to access and check/modify it...... Please could you advise if there is anything further I can do?
