Just to clarify please, as I understand it now, the actual music steam
itself from TIDAL goes from modem to router to LMS running on my pc, and
then back from LMS running on my pc to router to receiver (in my case
via ethernet cable).  Is that correct? 

Or, is it just requests like which station or to advance a song, that
goes through the LMS on my computer.
