Hi Alex,

the piece of cake code allows you to create a grid with zero height by specifying the minimal and maximal value in the axial direction as zero. But you will still get a grid with a third dimension (all zeroes), which requires you to specify boundary conditions in the third dimension. Alternatively, you could alter the cakegridcreator.hh file and get rid of the routines which are responsible for the extrusion of the piece of cake in the third dimension.

Cheers,
Martin

Hello,

Is there in Dumux a 2D radial problem (in a vertical cross-section)? So that it does not require running the full 3D or “piece of cake”.

Best wishes,

Alex
