Use a floppy or CD for a start up disk with norton or techtools. You may
need to reinstall the system or just repair it.

Subject: [Duo2400] new Duo user
Hi. I got a used Duo 230 off ebay and I am having some trouble with it. It
turns on, the happy mac somes up, it says welcome to mac OS, then dies.
Sometimes it shuts down before it gets to the welcome screen. I have a
feeling it's the battery, even though it's plugged into AC. Can anyone help
me here, tell me what is going on? Thanks.
