If it's plugged into AC and still not working I doubt it is the battery.
Your problem sounds more to the tone of SYSTEM problem, extentions,
controls, could be alot of things.... Use a start up disk (Norton,
techtools) and check the system and drive.
AND the battery the person was speaking of is the internal, Apple hides them
inside so you can't find them! Really if you have never popped (cracked) a
case don't, have a shop do it!
