okay, folks, as someone who has owned and toyed with all the duos and their
screens, may i say that:
1. the 210/230 board will drive the 250 screen; they have the same
connector.
2. the 210/230/250 boards cannot drive any color screens; the color screens
(270c, 280c, and 2300c) as well as the B/W active-matrix 280 all have the
same connectors.
3. the 2300c board can use ANY duo screen--color or monochrome, active or
passive; it has connectors for both (you'll need to cut a small strip into
the protective sheet over the board to reveal the other connector); but the
2300c screen will NOT work on any other board.

The 250 monitor is B&W, like the 210/230, but is active matrix.
I wouldnt even try connecting a color monitor to a 210/230/250, but I think
the 210/230/250 monitor connectors are the same (this is heavily implied
from apple servie manual literature). Now, while it may _fit_, the 230 may
not be able to _drive_ the 250 monitor.
