Things to do with your Duo 270c:
1.) Download Aladdin Expander for your windows machine and decompress
Stuffit expander for the mac before transferring it (as recommended by
someone else)
2.) Download Express Modem 2.3.3 and install it.
3.) Download Open Transport 1.1.2 and OT/PPP 1.0 and install
3.5) Download Internet Config 2.0 from Stairways.com
4.) Configure the Modem, TCP/IP, and PPP control panels to dial out to your
ISP.
5.) Enjoy.
For the LCIII, find out what type of card that the LCIII has and look for a
site called the Mac Driver Museum. You will likely find a driver or a link
to a driver for your card. Just went through that with an SE/30.
If you feel the desire, you can upgrade to 7.5.5. You can also upgrade to
Express Modem version 3.0 if you like. Also look for an extension called
PPP Menu.
