Yes the RAM disk will work to boot up. . BUT. . there are some things that you
cannot do to a Start-up Disk. Ever try Norton�s Speed Disk or have Disk Doctor tell
you you have problems, but, it cannot repair them -because it is a Start-up Disk?
That is why you need to hook the PB up to a Desktop computer, via SCSI to do those
things that you cannot do to a Start-up Disk. Just because you were able to boot up
the computer using the RAM Disk, it does not mean that the RAM Disk is the �Startup
Disk�. The only way you can fix some things on a single hard drive computer is to
physically attach it to another computer -as an aux hard drive -and have that
computer�s hard drive be the Start-up Disk.. sorry
