I have been having a similar problem with scsi. I am always able to use
Toast, but after burning a cd, if I don't restart and disconnect the drive,
my 2400 will eventually crash. I am probably going to get the cardbus
upgrade and get a new usb or firewire cd-r (to go with our new iMac.)  I am
sure the problem is a connection, although I don't know if it's the cable or
the 2400 connector.
