>>Hi,
>>
>>I have two SCSI system cables (HDI-29 to 50-pin) for my Powerbook 2400.
>>Both of them give flaky connections. Using either cable, Toast will not
>>find my CD Recorder unless I stress the connector going into the
>>powerbook by pulling it in a plane perpedicular to the cable axis. Both
>>cables want the stress in a different direction, however.
>>
>>A repair guy at a local shop told me that "SCSI cables go bad alot".
>>I've used alot of electronic connectors in my life, and these HDI
>>connectors *look* like they are mil-spec, industrial strength!
>>
>>Has anyone else found these to be flaky? What about a flaky connector on
>>my powerbook?
>>
