Good morning All, I have a 280c with a Dock, I bought a SCSI adapter. I
setup the system with a known good SCSI cable and known good external CD
player. The system would not boot with the CD player powered up.....the
screen would be grey and the arrow cursor was there but that's all.
Sometimes it would boot with a little picture of the Dock in the center of
the screen. I tried several cables and several SCSI ID numbers......should
the ID numbers match or be different from the ID of the Duo?......I think
different. I am going to try another external CD drive. I am powering up
the CD player first. Any thoughts and/or ideas ? Thanks.......JWS.
