Whoa!!!  You shouldn't just be throwing stuff like that into your system
folder at random.  System Enablers are ONLY for *specific* versions of the
OS AND *specific* machines!!  Generally these are folded into the next
system update.  Before you go sticking this thing in your system folder you
need to know just what version of the OS required an Enabler to run on your
machine.

BTW, my 280c w/ MacOS 8.1 does not have an Enabler.  There's Tech Info
articles at Apple that tabulate machines & OS versions to let you know what
enabler is needed where.  I don't recall the exact article numbers.  But I
bet that this thingy was for the 2300, for whatever the then-current OS was
at the time the 2300 was released.

(One final hint to the original poster... Your Duo was working just fine
before you ever heard of Enablers, right??  If it ain't broke, don't fix
it.)
