Still, you have to be sympathetic with the urge to have your computer
running at it's maximum most efficient performance, which I believe was
what the original poster was concerned with. I used to be into that when I
was in the habit of trashing out control panels and extentions I didn't
like the looks of, ( "sprockets? I don need no stinkin sprockets!"
)thinking that was a lot of memory and overhead that wasn't necessary. Many
crashes later I gave in and leave the OS as stock as possible.
