I think the best thing would be to "clean reinstall" the OS. You can get the "clean
reinstall" option when you get to a panel in the installer that says "options" or
"customize" or one of the 2. Select "clean reinstall".

You will end up with an "old System Folder", If yu have any 3rd party extensions or
control panels you can move them mover the new system folder bit I would do it one
by one (i.e. put one back, restart, us the machine, if all OK, pput anoyther one back,
restart etc) because otherwsie in case there is a conflict you won't know what causes
it.

Another thing you are missing is the driver for the G3 card - now I can see this is
the mysterious driver that needs to be reinstalled. it is a tiny file, you can
download it from the company's website whose G3 card you are using, pt it into the
Extensions folder and restart. the cache memory messages will go away. BTW there is
nowhihnt wroong with the cache memory but the Mac thinks there is unless tat extension
is present.

You can download the driver onto another compuyer, put it on a floppy and transfer it.

Good luck. The 2400 is a brtillinat machine, I have been using it for 2 years and I
love it.
