On the other hand, the Apple Express 1.5.5 modem software is a small 950k piece
than fits on one floppy and installs in seconds. The Apple Telecom 3.1.3
software is around 10MB in size so represents a huge amount of bloatware
if all one needs the modem for is to achieve an internet connection.

Also, imagine the headaches a novice would have figuring out how to
download and transfer a 10 MB smi file compared to a 95ok Disk Copy 4.2
file that fits on one floppy.
