I found that the traces on my Duo keyboard where they plug into the
connector were worn in the center of the trace. Evidently the contact
in the holder is thin and it wears in the middle of the trace. It
looked good with the naked eye, but when I used my loupe, it was easily
discirnable. I trimmed the edge of the contact and the plastic
stiffener, by about 1/8 inch and inserted it and it worked. On my
keyboard the control, option, command and esc keys did not work.
