Over the years I have had great success repairing bad traces on flexible
printed circuit boards for automotive instrument panels useing a product
that you can find at almost any autoparts store.
IIRC it's manufactured by 'Locktite' and is intended for repairing the
printed conductive traces used for defrosting the rear window glass. I have
found that a toothpick works well for painting on very fine traces. I have
never had a repaired unit 'comeback' due to a failure using this product.
I havn't used it on a computer but see no reason why it wouldn't work.
