It is shareware, so you'll lose functionality after a while unless you register, but I have found it stable and useful enuf to justify it. Other functions include choice of power-saving when on battery, etc. The only gotcha that I've found: you'll lose the registration info if you delete CSM prefs, as I have had to do more than once due to some [other?] offending CSM..
