Whoa baby!!! You got that drive for less than you'd pay for Retrospect?!?!
Wow!
Seriously, though, the $150 or so you'll pay for Retrospect will be well
worth it (IMHO). Unless, of course, Retrospect Express handles tape drives,
but I didn't think it did. But if it does, that's only $50.
BTW, you don't need to get the APS software, since tape drives don't mount
on the desktop like HDs. Retrospect comes with it's own driver to access
the tape drive. (Oh, there is a product called DeskTape which will allow
you to mount a tape as a volume in the Finder, but if you're squeamish about
spending the $150 for Retrospect, you REALLY won't want to look into
DeskTape.)
