Well, then, there is nothing that prevent you from using it. You
shouldn't use the image restore, but rather go ahead and perform a
system install. I had a 8.5.1 CD that came with my B&W and I did use it
to install 8.5.1 on my 2300c. The system install is standard, AFAICT.
