Out of curiosity, does the Sony portable CD-ROM handle CD audio
extraction (aka "ripping")? The Panasonic drive doesn't, and the Reno
probably doesn't either (I used to have one, but can't recall if I
tried to extract any tracks).
If someone with the Sony drive would like to find out for us,
SoundApp or Quicktime Player Pro can import from CD audio to an AIFF
file.
