Junque box? Check the bottom of the unit, it normally has an icon showing
the polarity. If it is 12VDC and shows the +/- connections, trot down to
your local Rat Shak (RadioShack) and buy an adapter. To be honest, I collect
the darn things, as I always have some piece of junk <<ahem...GEM!!!>> show
up w/o the power adapter. Bought a couple of 12VDC adapters for $2 at a
local flea market; one is running the Farallon Etherwave, one is powering my
set of ($4) speakers, and the last one is running my hub (free....the power
supply died!!). Wall warts are always handy to have around.....just find one
with the same voltage and equal or higher amp ratings, and make sure that the
output is correct (AC vs DC).

FYI, I'm working on an old PB180c; didn't have an adapter, so I rigged one up
using an old wall wart supply. Worked well (even if the 180c didn't....bad
display cable or interface card. C'est la vie!); it is currently charging a
friend's PB165. If you can't find one, let me know....I'll dig thru the ole
junquebox.

Saludos cordiales!
