Do you absolutely need to run 7.6.1? For a minimal system, the oldest the
version, the least space it would require, I would imagine. I'm not sure
what was the version of the OS that the 280c shipped with, but any older
version would be fine. Running with a minimal system would reduce the risk
of running into problems, since the set of components is rather small. Worth
a shot before deciding to accept those dreaded alert messages...
