Just 2 weeks ago I bought a Duo 2300. I Love this machine!!! With it I got a
Duo Dock and an Asante Net Dock. With the Duo Dock I managed to put OS 8.1
on the Duo (works fine with 32 MB of Ram and SpeedDoubler). From the Asante
website I got their Ethertalk Installer 5.6.1. It recognized correctly my
Net Dock when it's connected. I let the installer do it's job and when I go
into the Appletalk Control Panel, I get the option 'Ethernet Alternative'.
However Whenever I try to sellect it, it tells me that there was a problem
with 'Ethernet Alternative' and that I should check my Ethernet connections.
Question: what is the magic trick to make an Appletalk connection over the
Net Dock?
