I had my GLOD about a year and a half ago, of course just a month after the warranty
expired. I have since read about lots of these on this list. The best advice have
seen is just what you are following: that of Sydney Ho. I think he's the best
contributor to this list. You have done well to find his recipe so quickly. You're
way ahead of the game.
If you try all of Sydney's recommendations and still have no luck, I suggest you send
the 2400c to DTT in Fremont, CA. They'll fix it and have it back to you in less than
48 hours (if you're willing to pay the overnight-shipping premium to ship it to them.
They overnight it back to you regardless.) The repair should cost you less than $350,
shipping included.
I've used DTT twice in the past two years. My 2400c seems to quit every August,
requiring major surgery. I'm convinced the 2400c has heat problems. I have been very
satisfied with DTT as have others on this list.
You'll be out of your misery before you know it.
