Except for one thing ... they don't run MacOS. The Sony Vaio's are
super sexy, but I could care less for Windows and Linux leave
somthing to be desired (like Applications)
>and you would think that Apple would look to people like us,
>to fix pain-in-the rump problems machines like the 2400
>deal with..instead of some of these hardware engineers,
>who are dead from the neck up...If there's a problem,

Some things are just bad ideas (like the cheap clickker in the 2400)
or made a few too many compormises to remain compatable (Duo 2300 was
limited by the old DuoDock tech) Others we just pushed to market too
fast (5300 anyone?)
I wish Apple would look at more that just the average consumer when
desinging their products. Right now I wouldn't buy anything out of
their product line. Nothing meets my needs in it.
>Steve Jobs, are you listening ?
If he was, We'd have a subnotebook by now. A REAL sub notebook. Not
some 13 inched-screen beast that the rumor mill is talking about.
Take a 2400, half it's thickness, and you have one kick ass
sub-notebook
Ok, enough ranting for tonight, I'm going to bed.
