I'm reading that the screen is indeed 15in and NOT 13in screen size! just
want to make sure we are on the same page of apple.com.
Personally, I'm thrilled that apple has something that fairly competes with
Sony's Vaio. My hope that their next model will be similar to the Vaio
family of various size laptops, the smallest being close to three palm pilots
lined up in a row! And with a built in video camera, very impressive Sony
design! Now that they have thin laptops on their mind, we can only hope that
the next generation could have a modular type design, where the
cd/cdrw/zip/floppy/etc could have mounted underneath, thereby making the unit
slight narrower, smaller all around closer to the 2400c layout. If you don't
need the cd or module for travel, you leave that in your overhead bag.
Modules remain a LARGE draw for me with the Pismo, in that the cdrw module is
so important for me in backing up my work.
But let's not deminish the awe inspiring design and beauty and speed of this
very 2001 model powerbook!
BRAVO to Steve "the man" Jobs and his teams of fanatical powerbook designers!
