height were a problem, which is why I think an extra
inch in both areas will be a help. It's the width I
see as not relevant. I've used the WallStreet on
surfaces as narrow as 11", if the screen will open
sufficiently.
A Dell Inspiron 5000 with a 4:3 aspect 15" display is
only 0.5" narrower than a G4, but an entire inch
deeper and probably 1.5" taller when opened (plus it
weighs 2 lb more). Admittedly, the screen displays
more pixels than the G4.
In sum, I think making the screen wider rather than
taller and wider is smart; the resulting case width
should also help the keyboard layout. Now we have to
see whether a sub-note shows up in Tokyo.
