Aha! I didn't really understand that picture when you first posted it. 
Here are some comments:

SIZE IS EVERYTHING: Your picture shows a machine that is wider than the 
keyboard. Unacceptable. The machine needs to me no wider than a standard 
keyboard or maybe even a bit smaller like the 2400. And if that IS a 
miniaturized keyboard, I don't want it if you are wasting space on the 
sides.

The height is the most CRITICAL dimension. This is the part of the 2400 
that is still too large. On my last coach class flight, once the guy in 
front of me reclined, only the rear half of the 2400 would fit on the 
tray table. I can't imagine the hell that would be with a  Lombard.
