The difference b/t one click and the next with the bright/contrast doesn't
seem to be too much. If you want to see if it works, turn the brightness all
the way down til the backlight shuts off. It should do this, if your buttons
are ok. I usually hold mine down until the screen looks how I like it in a
given situation, rather than individual clicking. HTH
