I wish Apple had some consistent database of interrelatedness showing that, for example, a hidden version of AppleScript is in the Extensions folder (the old one is superceded by OS9.x), and the following apps/CP's need AppleScript.... There are dozens of extensions to have the various parts of online experience hang together, yet no telling whether you're in trouble by removing DNS Plugin, that supports NSL, and God only knows who talks to NSL. I'll rationalize that when we're absolutely capped @ 80MB of ram, and occasionally need monsterware like VPC, every few hundrred KB count to a 2400 user.
