Yes. I have my Duo 2300 with Duo MiniDock and Asante micro EN/SC
hooked to my G4 via an ethernet crossover cable. I'm running MacOS
8.6 with ethernet extensions: Asante EN/SC 6.0, Apple built-In
Ethernet 1.0.5, Apple Enet 2.1.2, Apple Ethernet NB 1.0.3, EtherTalk
Phase 2 2.5.7. I may not need all those, but it works.

In your Appletalk control panel select: Alternate Ethernet then restart.
