I use VPC a lot on my G3 upgraded 2400 and it works fine sharing 80 megs of
memory between Mac OS 8.6 and the VPC program running Win 95. I use mainly
MS Access and it's about as fast as the ancient 100Mhz Pentium PC's at
work.
If you decide on the 2400, you almost have to get one with 80 megs memory
and a G3 upgrade as it really helps run VPC. Don't bother with VPC 4.0
because there's not that much of a speed improvement on the 2400 and don't
even consider running Win 98 or higher as they need more memory than you
can give it.
To sum, only a maxed out 2400 will do VPC 3.0 well and even then you have
to make compromises on which Windows system you can run. You're probably
better off getting the Wallstreet. . .
